Yitzhak rabin (/ ˈrɑːbɪn /; Dec 20, 2025yitzhak rabin was an israeli statesman and soldier who, as prime minister of israel (1974–77, 1992–95), led his country toward peace with its neighbors. Yitzhak, the patriarch who set his roots firm and deep into the land, was the symbol of a permanent and strong avrahamic (later “jewish”) presence in k’na’an.

Yitzhak is a hebrew name with a rich history and strong cultural significance. In hebrew, "yitzhak" (יצחק) means "he will laugh," reflecting the joy that isaac's birth brought to his parents, abraham and sarah, in the old testament.
